Dudesweet ปาร์ตี้พังก์ร็อคที่อยู่กับกรุงเทพฯ มา 24 ปี กำลังก้าวเข้าสู่ chapter ใหม่ในฐานะ “เด็กใหม่” ในวงการภาพยนตร์ไทย กับโปรเจกต์หนังดนตรี Doi Dum Punk ที่ยังอยู่ในช่วง fundraising (ที่เพื่อนๆ คนทำหนังบอกว่านี่คือขั้นตอนที่ยากที่สุด) และวิธีที่เราถนัดที่สุดก็คือการจัดปาร์ตี้ เลยว่าจะจัดปาร์ตี้หาทุนแบบนี้ไปเรื่อยๆ จนกว่าจะได้ทำ คิดซะว่า หนังยังไม่ทันเปิดกล้อง แต่เราจัดปาร์ตี้ฉลองปิดกล้องกันไปก่อน


 

ปาร์ตี้ครั้งแรกนี้ เป็นการ collaboration กับ Matter Makers ทั้งปาร์ตี้และคอลเล็คชั่นเลื้อผ้า ขอเชิญคนรักหนังมาปาร์ตี้ด้วยกัน ไม่ว่าคุณจะทำหนังอยู่แล้ว หรือกำลังหาเงินทำหนังเหมือนเรา และขอฝากเนื้อฝากตัวกับเพื่อนๆ พี่ๆ น้องๆ คนทำหนังทุกคนด้วยคร้าบบ

Dudesweet, a punk rock party that’s been part of Bangkok for 24 years, is stepping into a new chapter as a “new kid” in the Thai film industry with our music film project Doi Dum Punk. We’re currently in the fundraising phase, which our filmmaker friends say is the hardest part. The only thing we really know how to do is throw parties, so we’ll just keep doing that to raise funds until the film gets made. Think of it like this, the film hasn’t even started shooting yet, but we’re already celebrating the wrap.


 

This first party is a collaboration with Matter Makers, bringing together the party and a Matter Makers x Dudesweet collection. We’d love to invite anyone who loves film to come hang out, whether you’re already making films or trying to make one. Looking forward to learning from everyone.
